The Radiation Tapes and I Ain't Judas
Ted and JJ Maestas make up this incredible team of long-distance writers and performing artists called Left on Colfax. The duo talk about their experience of songwriting and the benefits of expression for mental health. Tragic moments and personal loss have occurred in Ted’s life, but the brave musician states “pain doesn’t define us or our music” as he passionately continues his music career.
JJ quotes, “Taking emotions and putting them into songs and onto paper, and belting out the songs is the best therapy there ever is!”
Described as being in the best place musically than they’ve ever been before, this loyal and authentic duo talk about how maturity and experience have helped them hone their craft, producing quality music for their fans.
These multi-instrumentalists and singers have lived through regret, resilience and hope, enhancing their ability for empathy as they speak honestly about taking ownership of choices in life.
